Loneliness
Loneliness
Emptiness in your heart,
Feels like hunger pangs,
You take in hollow breaths,
Let the melancholy settle,
Don’t cry.
Once you do you won’t be able to stop,
Loneliness is not for the faint of heart,
You can’t stop the tide,
Once it begins to rise,
Heartache and headache,
No remedy, no cure,
You lost yourself,
Amid the sea of strangers
Rushing by,
You’re at a standstill,
Alone is not the same as lonely.
